What you will do

You own the site day to day: the programme, the subcontractors, the safety briefings at 7am and the handover at the end. Most of our site managers came up through a trade or as assistant site managers, and we keep that route open.

  • Run daily briefings and keep the programme on track
  • Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries and inspections
  • Keep site records, permits and quality checks up to date
  • Look after the safety and welfare of everyone on site

What you will bring

You do not need to tick every box. If you can do most of this and want to learn the rest, apply.

  • Experience running or supporting a construction site
  • SMSTS (or willing to gain it with our support)
  • A CSCS card, or willingness to get one
  • Clear, calm communication with clients and teams

What you get

25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a pension with up to 8% from us, paid training and cards, and private medical cover after probation. See all benefits.

Applying and what happens next

Applying takes about 5 minutes on a phone. You can upload a CV or answer a few short questions instead. We reply to everyone within 5 working days. If you are shortlisted, we will call you for a 20-minute chat, then invite you to meet the team on site. How we hire.

Reasonable adjustments. If you need anything to make applying or interviewing easier, email adjustments@stilwell.example or call 0113 000 0000 (placeholder contact). You do not have to say why.
